In the ladies Euro cup 2022 France played Iceland in their last game in the group stages.
Now France having already qualified for the quarter finals, played a team with quite a few changes.
France then scrod their goal by by Mallard in the very first minute of the game and it was expected that France would really press forward and score more goals and put ample pressure on Iceland.
But that never did happen . And Iceland equaled to a very late penalty ,and the goal was scored by Brynjardottir in 90+ 12 minutes of the match.
Sadly now Iceland are eliminated even after drawing with France.
France now play Holland in the quarter finals.
