In the ladies Euro cup 2022 England defeated Germany in the finals played at Wembley.
It was England's first ever Euro Cup win in their history. While Germany were playing for their ninth Euro Cup in their history.
The first goal in the final came by the substitute Ella Toone scored a goal in the 62 nd minute. And Wembley came fully to life.
But Germany was not done yet Lina Magull scored a equalizer in the 79th minute. And Wembley went dead silent.
The match went into After Extra Time A.E.T. and another substitute Chloe Kelly taped in loose ball after a corner to score that magical goal that England dreamed of it came in the 110 th minute of A.E.T
Both sides missed several glorious attempts at goal.
There attendance for the final was 87,192
And Beth Mead won the Golden Bott defeating the Grman Popp
It took England 56 yeas to win a major trophy in football after the 1966 world cup win over West Germany.
