DAVID DEAN APOLOGIZES OVER THE SALE OF ASHLEY COLE SIXTEEN YEARS AGO.

 David Dean the former chairman of Arsenal, has now gone and apologized about the sale of Ashley Cole to Chelsea 16 long years ago.

 Ashley Cole at his peak was reported to be the best left back in he would not just in Europe Ashley Cole was a graduate from the Arsenal academy.

 Then his contract was to be renegotiate, and here was a big demand from Ashley Coles agent. And Chelsea showed big interest in him. Jose Mourinho really wanted Ashley Cole badly.

 Chelsea then had a meeting in a hotel with Ashley Cole and his agent.

 But as luck would have it the waiter overheard everything and then contacted THE NEWS OF THE WORLD, it appeared on the front page. The waiter was a lifelong fan of Arsenal.Chelsea, Ashley Cole and his agent were fined heavily  by the F.A.

 Now David Dean also said that the new increased weekly salary could not have been given to Ashley Cole, as the club was building te Emirate stadium and every penny counted.
