Please kindly understand that the problem facing Barcelona is that they have plenty of money, they are the forth richest club after Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and then comes Barcelona.
They are in debt I agree, but they are not bankrupt.
If so according to F.I.F.A rules, any club facing financial problems will be demoted to the second tier , and will have nine to twelve points deducted for the new season That means they no longer play in the champion league, Barcelo are playing these years as well in the champion league.
The eal proble is that each club have a fixed salary cap ,and it vaies from cu to club, year to year.
So now because of this the old contract and huge weekly salary cannot be given So these playrs will have to take a cut in salary.
