WHEN EVERTON REJECTED CRISTIANO RONALDO IN THE YEAR 2002.

Now itis repotted in THE DAILY MAIL, that way back n the year 2002 , Everton had gone and rejected   the offer to buy Cristiano Ronaldo, from Sporting Lisbon, for a very small sum of 2, two million pounds, peanuts I would say.

But Everton had gone and rejected that offer. Their reason was as they had Wayne Rooney as a 16, sixteen-year-old. They wanted to develop Wayne Rooney instead.

But being Manchester Unted, they went and bought both of them Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney ack in the year 2004.

 And the rest is history.
