 Cristiano Ronaldo was waiting and waiting for a phone call that never really did come o him.

 After the world cup, he returned to Spain and his old club Real Madrid, to stay very fit and to impress clubs in Europe.

 But as he waited for the Call to come from Real Madrid president Florentino Peres, which never did come through.

He had no choice but to sign up for Al Nassr the Saudi Arabian club.

 But please note it was not that no club wanted him in Europe, they just could not afford his salary even.

 Mind you he was a free agent.
