 Now at the world cup 2022 at Qatar , the very big absentee was the French striker Kareem Benzema , the former Lyon striker and now Real Madrid striker since 2009.

 The French manager Didar Deschamps, had said tat Kareem Benzema was injured badly and was set back home.

 But Kareem Benzema says it is not at all true, as e was never ever injured in the very first place.
