Now Lionel Messi has gone and won the F.I.F.A world footballer of the year for 2022.
He defeated Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema to win the award.
This was the second F.I.F.A footballer of he year award for Lionel Messi.
He now joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski, who also have won it twice.
And mind you he has won it at he age of 35 years, usually footballers retire at 35 years.
