Now the Qatari sheikh Jassim Hamad bin Al Tani his foundation and representatives were at Manchester United ,and had a ten hour meeting and were shown around Old Trafford ad Carrington grounds.
The talks were very positive and cordial as well. And it appears the Qatari party were pleased with what tey saw and what was said in the meeting. Now the Qatari party want to make a second bid to buy the club.
But earlier the Qatari sheikh had said that hey would note overpaying for Manchester United in any way and could walk out.
Now according to the FINANCIAL TIMES , which said Manchester United was worth only 3.5 billion pounds.
And he Qatari first bid was for 4.5 billion pounds. What ever happened to their big talk .?
Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be having his meeting the next day.
Both have ten days to bid or six billion pounds, the asking price of the Glazers.
