EAST GERMANY QUALIFIED FOR A WORLD CUP ONLY ONCE IN THEIR HISTORY.

 We all know West Germany have been a very strong football nation, with a very rich history in football.

 After world war two Germany was devided into two parts. East Germany and West Germany.. East Germany was registered with F.I.F.A in the year 1952 only..

 And they qualified for the world cup final way back ni the year 1974., West Germany were the hosts that year.

West Germany and East Germany  ,wee in the same group with Australia and  Chile.

 East Germany defeated West Germany in their opener. with a single goal. But after tat West Germany won ther matches with Australia and Chile.

 Germany reached the finals of that world cup where they  defeated Holland in the finals.
