Now the president of U.E.F.A Alexnder Ceferrin has come out to say he has a very big desire to go and introduce the salary cap, in the E.C.A . EUROPAN CLUB ASSOCIATION., all the 640 clubs in Europe.
The salary cap is calculated yearly on the club's debt, yearly income and yearly expenditure.
And there will be a luxury tax as well.. Which means that for example? Juventus have a salary cap of 300 three hundred million pounds. But the club spends 400 four hundred million pounds. Then Juventus will have to pay a luxury tax of one hundred million pounds, this money will go into a public basket, and wl be devided by equally by every club.
But the very big problem is that if it is introduced in all clubs in Europe , then n te summer transfer window clubs will find it hard to sell or buy players. failing to breach te salary cap ,will not be allowed to register new players, after buying them.
Football will be dead and buried, as we see clubs in Spain are having very big gigantic problems controlling the salary cap..
But mind you it has to be passed by the clubs in U.EE.F.A. at the yearly A.G.M.
