 Now Lionel Messi has gone ad wo the famous LAUREUS award for he year 2023. For being the worlds best sportsman.

 And usually  this Laureus award is only given for individual sports like Cycling, swimming, boxing athletics, tennis  and boxing.

 It is very rarely given to a sportsman playing team game like football..

 What is  so very astonishing here is  now Lionel Messi won it twice and the only person to be awarded   this prestigious award twice.
