 It is not at all correct to say Arsenal did go and bottle. the title race 

Arsenal are a team of youngsters and need time and experience and do need a leader.

 Now since 2016 Arsenal never finished ibn the top four , they played in the EUROPA LEAGUE, the old U.E.F.A cup. .While Manchester City won the English Premier League five times i six years.

 So clearly Arsenal was out matched.

Now Arsenal have 81 points. from36 games and Manchester City have 85 points from 35 games.

 Clubs have won the title after scoring 81  points.
