Even though Spain did win the world cup defeating England. with a score of 1-0.
But there were two players in the Spanish side that won the 2023 world cup., who lost their fathers sadly.
The goal scorer Olga Carmona lost hr father on the 18/8/2023, but e Spanish staff did nt ell it to her until the win was completed. Hewa sick fir quite a while and it was expected any time.
The other defender Irene Perdas also lost her father.as well during the world cup. But they both played real nerves of steel I must say.
