Now tee Portuguese club Benfica , is a very famous club in Portugal, along with Porto, and Sporting Lisbon.
Back in the year 1959, the club was then managed by a Bela Guttmann, till the year 1962..
During tgat time Benfica on a few trophies and won the champion league as well.
Then Bela Guttman, then asked tge board of Benfica , to increase his yearly salary.
The President of Benfica aid rudely that the would increase the salary of the players , but not of Bela Guttmann.
Bela Guttmann cursed Benfica and told them that Benfica would not win either the champion league or te U.E.F.A cup, today it is called THE EUROPA LEAGUE/
Benfic have won nothing since 1962, .
Te board and players like the late Eusibo ,went to Bela Guttmann's graveyard and prayed for the curse to break, But sadly nothing happened. We will have to wait hundred yeas till 12062 for the curse to break.
