BACK IN 1979 NOTTINGHAM FOREST LOST THEIR MATCH AS TE REFREE HAD TAKEN A HUGE BRIBE.

 Back in the year1947 Nottingham Forest were playing. The Belgian club. Anderlecht., in tge semifinals   of the champion league.

In that match the Spanish referee Emilo Mura . Now he was bribed by te chairman of Anderlecht Volden

he paid te referee a bribe of One million. Belgian Francs. EqualNet of 18,000 eighteen thousand pounds. Nottingham  were robed as he did not give a goal saying it was offside.

 But it leaked out and te chairman Volden   , was being blackmaied.They then sent a letter telling  to complain and investigate the bribe charge.

 U.E.F.A foumd te Belgian  club gulty and were banned from tge champion league for one year.
