THIS WAS THE REASON WHY F.I.F.A WAS FORCED TO BRING THE RULE THAT BACK PASSES CANNOT BE TOUCHED BY GOALKEEPERS.

 Till the   1992 Euro Cup it was legal for a footballer  to pass te ball back to their goalkeeper, who could regally use his hands and  get te ball  to  tthe front players 

 In the 1992 Euro cup Denmark failed to qualify for te Euro cup it was Yugoslavia , that qualified   . But ten before te Euro cup started the Yugoslavian civil war started  and Yugoslavia   was expelled by U.E.F.A and F,I,F,A , The reason being Serbia  were accused of genocide against Bosnian Muslims.. 

Denmark were given the place and group of Yugoslavia.. Yugoslavia broke up into smaller countries.

 Now in their Matches   played by Denmark the players would kept back passing  the ball, to te famous goalkeeper Peter Schmichael., it was   mainly to run down the time . Denmark won the Euro Cup in the year 1992..

 But F,I,F,A introduced tge new rule for the 1994 world cup in tge U,S,A    that goalkeepers can no longer pick up te ball with teir hands  if t s a back pass it can be a red card and penalty.
