I just could not understand why Manchester United were so very keen to buy the English defender Harry Maguire, after all the defender did not come cheap to Manchester United, they paid a huge amount for him, it wa a new world record for buying a defender, it even broke the record for the costliest defender ever, till Harry Maguire was brought by Manchester United , the costliest defender was the Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk, who was sold by Southampton to Liverpool for 75, seventy five million pounds. Harry Maguire did cost Manchester United a huge sum of 85, eighty five million pounds. But I fail to Understand why Manchester United did not even bid once for Kieran Tierney, who had cost Arsenal a sum of 25, twenty five million pounds. But we will only know at the end of the season who was a better buy for their club Harry Maguire or Kieran Tierney.
