MARTA WINS LADY FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR

Marta the brazilian footballer has won the F.I.F.A award for the lady footballer of the year. And in so doing it she has now won the award for the fourth straight year. Something never done before in football history.
Not even the male footballers have done it. Both Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane have won it three times only, and they never won it in a row like her.

She is the other lady footballer to win the award three times . She has won it in 2006- 2007- 2008.
The only other lady footballer to win the award thrice is the German footballer Brigit Prinz who won the award in 2003-2004-2005.
