Iva n Klasnic is a CROATIAN but GERMAN born footballer, who plays is club footballfor the German club WERDER BREMEN as a striker. But he plays internatinol football for Croatia. Even the former German natinol coach Rudy Voeller tried to convince him to play for Germany,but Ivan politely refusedto play for Germany.
Ivan Klasnic was diagonised with kidney failure, in both the kidneys. His mother donated her kidney but Ivans body rejected the kidney. His father then donatedhis kidney and this timeit worked.
Heis the only living footballer to play in all three cups level THE WORLD CUP, THE EURO CUP, and the BUNDESLIGACUP. And he chosen for the EURO2008 tournament.
Iam personaly very proud of his football achivement.
It has now been proven that the doctors failed to notice his kidney problem way back in 2001, he is now sueing the doctorsfor a few million dollars.
