THE1966 WORLD CUP.

1 The 1966 world cup which was held in England and was won by England. This was for the second time, that a host countryhad won the cup. Italy last did it in 1934.
There was a total attendence of1,635,000. A total of 89 goals were scored. The golden boot was won by Eusibo, of PORTUGAL.
The winner was England. Germany came second . And Portugal came third. And the U.S.S.R. came fourth.
2 The refrees made a lot of blunders, such as in the final match between England and Germany. the goal of GEOFF HURST, is did it cross theline? And so as the refree and the linesman agreed and the goal stood.It allowed GEOFF HURST tobe the only footballer in world cup history to score a hat trick in the final match.
3 The German refree sent out the ARGENTINAN YASIN RATTIN, with the second yellow card, followedby a red card. For saying somethng in Spanish. Please note the refree did not understand a word of spanish.He later said he did not like the way he looked.
4 Eusibo had four goals disallowed in one game.
5 Norh Korea was the suprise of the the world cup. They nokedout the mighty ITALIANS, who were world champions ,and here the Koreans were playing their first world cup. They reached the quaterfinals, and lost to PORTUGAL. EUSIBO and Torres hadto play with all their skill andtricks to win.
6 The JULES RIMMET trophy was stolen, and found by a dog called Pickles in a park all wrapped in paper in a box.
