In the second semi final between England and Japan , the winner here would face U.S.A in the final. It was a game which saw Japan go ahead with the help of a penalty, in the 38th minute of the match . England then equaled through a penalty of their own. It stood this way till late into the injury time when Basset , scored a late own goal. So Japan were the winners a bit of good luck we can say.
