WHEN PATRICK VIEIRA ALMOST JOINED AJAX INSTEAD OF ARSENAL IN THE YEAR 1996.

Patrick Vieira , the famous French and Arsenal player has now come out and said that he was on the brink of joining Ajax from the Italian giants A.c.Milan., this was way back in the year 1996. And for four days he was in talks with the Dutch club Ajax , but nothing ever came through over it. It was then that Patrick Vieira who was very keen to play for France at the 1998 world cup held in France , he was desperate to get selected for France. it was then that Arsene Wenger contacted him and got him from ITALY with A.C.MILAN. He said he knew nothing of Arsenal or where it was in London, but he had heard a great deal of Arsene Wenger , so he joined up. HE won three E.P.L cups and four F.A,CUPS WITH Arsenal.
