And Spain known officially as LA FURIA ROJA THE RED FURY, as they lay in their bright red jerseys and black shorts. Spain have so far been shown only one red card so far since the year the world cup started in the year 1930. And the only person to be shown a red card was to the Barcelona and Spanish footballer Miguel Angel Nadal holds this record for the only red card shown to a Spaniard at the world cup. By the way Miguel Angel Nadal is the uncle of the famous tennis player Rafael Nadal. Getting just one red card after appearing at 14 fourteen different world cups and playing 59 , fifty nine matches. just speaks volumes of Spain.
