In the year 2018 Arsene Wenger the manager of Arsenal was ready to go ahead and o swap deal , with the Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez joining Manchester United, and Arsene Wenger wanted anoterstriker in Anthony Martial going the other way to Arsenal from Manchester united.
But sadly the deal did not work out as Jose Mourinho , who was the manager of Manchester United then went and blocked the deal.
It ws then decided that the Armenian midfielder Henrik Mkitaryan would be used in the swap deal.
But unfortunately both players flopped at their new clubs , in fact Alexis Sanchez was a bigger flop he was costing Manchester United a total f 11, eleven million pounds for his five goals.
Alexis Sanchez is nw on a loan with the Italian giants Inter Milan, and Henrik Mkhitaryan
