Now in the year 1999 Thierry Henry was playing for Juventus, and he was mainly on the bench, and t that time due to his pace he was a winger ,and not a striker then.
During that time Nerd Kelly was the head of the security at Manchester United, and he was also the body guard of Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona.
So one day Jean Marie Cantona, the elder brother of Eric Cantona phoned Nerd Kelly and told him that Thierry Henry wanted to join Manchester United .
So Nerd Kelly went to Sir Alex Ferguson , and told him that Thierry Henry wanted to play for Manchester United .
Sir Alex Ferguson said angrily NO Way,{ He is always getting injured ,his fitness is horrible.}Then Arsene Wenger and Arsenal signed Thierry Henry from Juventus in the year 1999, for 11, eleven million pounds. And as they say the rest is history, Wenger made Thierry Henry a striker.
