  In the year 2018 the Croatian captain Luka Modric  won the Balloon d'Or , I ask for what reason did he win the Balloon d'Or that year.? 

 1) Luka Modric.   Games. 42.. Goals 4.  , Assists 10.Trophies 2. Honours 4. Balloon d'Or  winner.

2) Lionel Messi. . Games.54. Goals . 51. .  Assists. 26. Trophies  .3. Honours 4.. 5th for the Balloon 'Or.

 But let me remind you Lionel Messi  never cried or said a word ,after all the balloon d'Or in 2018 was a daylight dacoity. And by the way neither Thomas, Muller, Robert Lewandowski , Toni kroos never ever said a word on behalf of Lionel Messi.
