George Weah, is till today the only black footballer from Africa to win a Balloon d'Or , he was from Liberia. He was the president of this country as well.
But George Weah won the balloon d'or i 1995.
But he never did play at a world cup.
But in the year 2022 at the Qatar world cup his son Timmothy Weah ,who played for the U.S.A ,not only played a world cup match he scored a goal s well. And George Who proudly saw it from the stands.
