It is very rare to see either Argentina or Brazil not qualifying for world cup.
1) in 1978 Mario Kempe's won te Golden Boot and Golden Ballas well as the world cup.
2) I 986 Diego Maradona won the Golden ball and also the world cup.
3) In 2022 Lionel Messi won the Golden Ball , and the world cup. And he became the first footballer to win the Golden ball at two different world cups 2014 and 2022.
