In the E. P.L a new record was set for the most goals in the weekend , E.P.L matches a total of 41, forty one goals were scored in the weekly E.P.L. matches played on 27/11/2010, and 28/11/2010. This is the highest number of goals scored since the the new E.P.l. rules came out in 1992, having 20 twenty teams in the E.p.L.

The biggest winners were Manchester United who defeated Blackburn Rovers with a 7-1 score.

The Bulgarian striker Dimitrov Berbatov was the top scorer with five goals, for Manchester United.This is after Alex Ferguson told Berbatov that he had six months to prove himself as he was brought for 30.75 million pounds , but did not score enough goals.

This was also the first time that all the 20 twenty teams scored a goal in their matches a new record as well.
